I am 25 action-packed years young today!!

Dear blog readers,

Firstly, thank you for being a part of my journey, yes you. Thank You. I know lots of you check in here and don’t comment, but you tell me in other ways you read this online scrapbook of mine, so thanks.

I want to say that my life so far has been absolutely mental and totally action-packed, and I am very grateful for all of my life experiences, both good and bad, because they have made me the woman I am today. I think 25 is a bit of a milestone, and so think it is a good idea to spend some time reflecting on where I’ve come from and where I’m heading.

It’s his birthday today.
That’s it.
That’s all I have to say.

Happy Birthday Angel M…

Happy Birthday my darling Angel M.

My horrifically beautiful rendition of Happy Birthday went down a right treat. Both live. Then surround sound by phoning her (as she sat next to me) then Facebook, Twitter blah blah blah.

Hope you like the presents.

Lots of love

Big sis x

Thank you Dr King…

Today I pay homage to one of the greatest men to have lived and passed in the 20th Century.

A man of faith, peace, virtue, courage, strength, passion and purpose. A man who dedicated his life to fighting for one of our most important causes.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The non-violent activist leader of the successful civil rights movement in the USA, who was so tragically assassinated in 1968.

Every third Monday in January is Dr Martin Luther King Jr day (his birthday is 15th January).

It is one of only 4 National holidays in the US calendar dedicated to commemorate a private citizen.

He lived to teach many we are one.

And died for the unity of us all.

A true King amongst men.

  • Here is a fantastic video edit which a FB friend showed me that adds autotune and music to Dr King’s classic message of peace and unity

Thank you Dr Martin Luther King Jr for all that you achieved and all that you started, may we all continue to peacefully progress towards the universal humanitarian quest for racial equality, unity and justice.

Let us celebrate the occasion with wine and sweet words.
